National Committee for Religious Freedom Announces Justin Murff as Executive Director
Washington, DC: The National Committee for Religious Freedom today announced the hiring of Justin Murff as the organization’s Executive Director, effective immediately. He most recently served as Executive Director of The MENA Collective, a digital fundraising initiative to support ministries in the Middle East, North Africa and, Pakistan.
Murff is passionate about defending religious liberty for all faiths. For over 20 years, he has served in a variety of religious roles including as the Minister of Stewardship and Generosity at First Baptist Dallas and as Canon for International Affairs in the Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy in the Anglican Church of North America. In addition to his ecclesial duties, Murff has worked as a media and development executive and as an executive producer at several national TV networks. He served as the Chief Development Officer for the Parental Rights Foundation and also served as the official envoy to the Vatican on behalf of CBN.
Sam Brownback, former United States Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom and chairman of the NCRF said, “Justin’s background makes him well-suited for leading the NCRF as we defend religious liberty for all Americans regardless of their faith or beliefs.”
Murff assumes the position from Sean Woo who served as executive director on a volunteer basis during the organization’s initial launch.
The National Committee for Religious Freedom is a nonpartisan 501(c)(4) organization founded in 2022 to restore and protect the Constitutional right of religious freedom for all Americans, their religious communities, and their faith-based institutions.
